Daniel was commissioned by 'Focus On Imaging' to compile a photographic portfolio of leading jazz performers for a national exhibition. The project entitled 'Shooting The Cool' was to reflect the vibrant state of the current jazz scene both locally in the North West and nationally.

A selection of these images was displayed at a 'Focus On Imaging' exhibition at Birmingham NEC. Subsequent exhibitions were hosted by Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre and by Bury Met. More recently, 'Starbucks' have requested that an exhibition of the 'Shooting The Cool' images be installed in their St Annes Square and Deansgate branches during the Manchester Jazz Festival for which Daniel is the official Photographer.
