Queensberry album
We’ve just received the wedding album of Amit and Claire and I love it! I know I keep going on about us only using QUEENSBERRY albums but they ooze style and quality. These wedding albums are the family heirlooms of the future. The way the images are mounted like art in the album gives it the feeling of being something to treasure.
Amit Sharma is the manager of Scaitcliffe Hall in Todmoorden. We’ve worked at that venue on a number of occasions previously but we were delighted when Amit called and said he would like us to photograph his wedding.
The day followed the traditional English style, then the evening developed into an Indian fest with a Tabla drummer, fantastic food and beautiful colourful costumes. A thoroughly enjoyable event with genuinely lovely people. To see some images from their wedding click on 'Read more'.

Take some photographs!

Finally! After seemingly endless grey days, we’re starting to see some brighter weather. It’s time to get out with your camera and start taking some interesting photographs. We live in a great city with photo opportunities at every turn. As you walk around town, get into the habit of looking up more often. If we only see things at shop-window level we miss some amazing architecture. Chiselled scrolls of yellow stone converge with mirror–like glass reflecting the blue sky. Notice how the modern angular buildings cut across the path of the twists and curves of the old.
I’ve seen some lovely black and white cityscapes, but be aware of the colours around you too.
I bet if you take a walk around the streets of your own neighbourhood in the sunshine, you’ll start to see things you’ve never noticed before. And remember, if you take a photograph you’re proud of, put it on the wall. Don’t leave it hidden away on your computer.
We’ve got more photography training seminars hosted by
coming up this year. The next is scheduled for June 19th so if you want to learn how to get the best from your camera, give Pam a call on 0161 767 7766.
If you wanna send some of your best pic’s through, we’d love to see ‘em. Meanwhile, as they say on Blue Peter, here's some I made earlier..... (Click 'Read More')
